The Set Design & Event Production course at International Design Academy (IDA) is built for architects, interior designers, and spatial creatives who want to move into event decor, OTT and film set design, and experience-led installations. Whether you picture yourself designing stages for live events, building sets for television and film, or creating brand experiences that people remember, this course gives you the construction knowledge and production thinking to back it up.
From modular construction and AI-powered visualization to CAD drafting, SketchUp modeling, and costing, this course lays the groundwork for a career in event production and experience design.

Saturdays & Sundays, 10 AM–12 PM
Course Overview
Master construction methods, modular systems, and lightweight structures used in event and set builds
Get hands-on with materials, fabrication techniques, and structural support basics
Learn AI-assisted visualization and moodboard development for fast concept presentation
Build technical skills in CAD drafting and SketchUp modeling for spatial planning
Work alongside industry mentors, fabricators, and production vendors on real workflows
Gain experience in estimation, costing, and BOQ preparation, then apply it in a final portfolio project

Graduates of IDA’s Set Design & Event Production course can pursue careers across live events, television and film sets, exhibitions, and brand experience design.
